This tour takes you to Uganda’s prominent park for great Wildlife encounters. It starts from Kampala to the north western part of Uganda. It combines parks like Murchison, Kibale, Queen, Bwindi and Lake Mburo National Park. On arrival expect to be welcomed by our driver guide. From the airport transfer to your hotel in Kampala.
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison
In the morning you will start the drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey includes a stopover in Nakasongola for Rhino tracking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Have lunch, after continue with the journey to Murchison. You will arrive in the evening and check in at the lodge.
Day 2: Game drive & Boat Cruise
Early in the morning have your breakfast. After get in the car for a morning game drive to see various wild animals like elephants, buffaloes, kobs and other wildlife species. After lunch you will do a boat cruise to see various aquatic species like water birds, hippopotamus, crocodiles, and more.
Day 3: Top of the fall – Kibale
Early in the morning after breakfast you will start with a visit to the top of the falls. From there you continue with a drive to Kibale forest national park. This journey takes about 3-4 hours. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch you can relax at the lodge or have an evening walk in Bigodi wetland.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking
Early in the morning after breakfast you transfer to Kanywanchu tourism center for briefing. After you start the journey to the jungle to search for the chimpanzee primates. These animals are very active, tourists are required to maintain their voices at low tone. Once you locate them, you be in their presence for a period of one hour. After return to the lodge.
Day 5: Kibale – Drive to Queen
From Kibale National Park you drive straight to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive requires about 1-2 hours. You will arrive in time for lunch. Have lunch, after do an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains.
Day 6: Game drive & Boat cruise
Early in the morning have breakfast. After you have a game drive to catch the early riser. The drive lasts for about 2-3 hours and will expose you to various wild animals like antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, and more. After you transfer to Mweya for your lunch. After lunch you will do a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel to see various aquatic species like hippopotamus, crocodiles, birds and more.
Day 7: Second Drive in Ishasha
On day seven you will do a second drive in the Ishasha sector to see more wild animals like elephants, tree climbing lions and bird species. You as well visit the crater lakes. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Queen – Drive to Bwindi
From Queen, you will drive to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector route. On your way to Buhoma sector you will see the rare tree climbing lions resting in the fig tree branches. Check in at the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking
Have the early morning breakfast. After drive to the starting point where you will be briefed by the park officials about how to behave in the jungles.
You are divided into groups of 8 people. Each gorilla family is allowed to be visited by one group of eight people per day. After briefing, you head to the Jungle following the permanently established routes in search of these apes.
When you locate these apes in the Jungles you are allowed to stay in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing, feeding, laughing plus taking photos and videos of them. After the one hour session you return to the Park offices.
Day 10: Bwindi – Lake Mburo
After great moments with the gorillas you transfer from Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park for wildlife encounters. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in at the lodge for lunch and relaxation. You will do an evening game drive.
Day 11: Full Day in Lake Mburo
Early in the morning you start with a game drive which lasts for about 2-3 hours. After return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will have a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. From boat you return to the lodge to relax.
Day 12: Lake Mburo – Drive to Kampala
Early in the morning you will check out to start the drive from Lake Mburo back to Kampala. The drive takes about 4-5 hours. Stop at the equator for lunch. After continue with the journey to Entebbe airport.
Day 13: Kampala – Drive to Jinja
Early in the morning you will shift from Kampala to Jinja for white water rafting and boat cruise to the source of River Nile. Lunch is included on the rafting package and provided by the operator. On the same day you return to Kampala.
Day 14: Half day City tour – Departure
Early in the morning you start with a city tour around Kampala. Visit various tourist spots in the city. Have lunch. After transfer to Entebbe for your return flight. End of Safari.
