Take our 10 day Wildlife safari in Uganda to have beautiful moments in Murchison, Bwindi, Queen and Kibale forest National Park. The package includes breathtaking activities like game drives, boat cruise, chimpanzee tracking and gorilla trekking in Bwindi.
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison
In the morning you will start the drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey includes a stopover in Nakasongola for Rhino tracking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Have lunch, after continue with the journey to Murchison. You will arrive in the evening and check in at the lodge.
Day 2: Game drive & Boat Cruise
Early in the morning have your breakfast. After get in the car for a morning game drive to see various wild animals like elephants, buffaloes, kobs and other wildlife species. After lunch you will do a boat cruise to see various aquatic species like water birds, hippopotamus, crocodiles, and more.
Day 3: Game Drive & Top of the fall
On this day you will have a second game drive in Murchison to see more wild animals. It takes about 2-3 hours. After you return to the lodge for lunch. In the evening you will visit the top of the falls. After return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.
Day 4: Murchison – Kibale
After beautiful moments you will start the transfer to Kibale Forest National park, the primate capital of Uganda. The journey takes about 3-4 hours and awards spectacular views. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in for lunch and relaxation at the lodge.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking
Early in the morning after breakfast you transfer to Kanywanchu tourism center for briefing. After you start the journey to the jungle to search for the chimpanzee primates. These animals are very active, tourists are required to maintain their voices at low tone. Once you locate them, you be in their presence for a period of one hour.
Day 6: Kibale – Drive to Queen
From Kibale National Park you drive straight to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive requires about 1-2 hours. You will arrive in time for lunch. Have lunch, after do an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains.
Day 7: Game drive & Boat cruise
Early in the morning have breakfast. After you have a game drive to catch the early riser. The drive lasts for about 2-3 hours and will expose you to various wild animals like antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, and more. After you transfer to Mweya for your lunch. After lunch you will do a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel to see various aquatic species like hippopotamus, crocodiles, birds and more.
Day 8: Queen – Drive to Bwindi
From Queen, you will drive to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector route. On your way to Buhoma sector you will see the rare tree climbing lions resting in the fig tree branches. Check in at the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Have the early morning breakfast. After drive to the starting point where you will be briefed by the park officials about how to behave in the jungles.
You are divided into groups of 8 people. Each gorilla family is allowed to be visited by one group of eight people per day. After briefing, you head to the Jungle following the permanently established routes in search of these apes.
When you locate these apes in the Jungles you are allowed to stay in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing, feeding, laughing plus taking photos and videos of them. After the one hour session you return to the Park offices.
Day 10: Bwindi – Drive back to Kampala
Early in the morning you will check out to start the drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National park back to Kampala for your return flight.
